Maintenance planning in manufacturing consists of two parts:
Planned maintenance consists of planned downtimes of machines that need to be repaired or cleaned, or activities that need to be carried out every day, week or month. Unscheduled maintenance is needed when a machine or equipment breaks down unpredictably.
In the OFFISEEK platform, it is possible to manage both types periodic and one-time maintenance tasks on the maintenance dashboard. The dashboard contains a calendar as well as a storage for creating and documenting repair instructions.
Planned activities are repeated every week, month or year. In the platform, it is possible to create an activity and set its repetition, e.g. on a weekly basis (see start of gas boiler).
The periodicity can be set on the activity detail once it is planned on a specific date.
Documentation should be kept for each maintenance task. Documentation resource can be a textual description of the procedure to repair the device, a video for rebuilding the machine, and other possible materials.
